The Centre for Student Development (CSD), a division of Student Affairs, provides a range of student development, student leadership and student life opportunities and experiences that foster a sense of belonging, and prepares students to be active citizens, global change-makers and leaders with integrity across all sectors of society.
The Wits Debating Union will be hosting the Pan African Universities Debate Championship tournament between 1- 8 December 2025. The PAUDC 2025 seeks to create a platform for intellectual discourse on key issues affecting the continent. This year's theme, "Harnessing AI for Sustainable Development in Africa." It aims to explore how artificial intelligence can be utilized to address critical socio-economic challenges while ensuring ethical implementation that benefits all communities.
