SoCEE teams performed at the FEBE Annual Sports Day

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering sports teams participated in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment Annual Sports Day.
On Saturday the 2nd of August 2025, the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SoCEE) sports teams participated in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment (FEBE) Annual Sports Day.
The day was packed with a variety of events, including netball, soccer, basketball, chess, e-Games and indigenous games.
Highlights for the School include the Netball team in third position and our chess team (represented by the captain, Simphiwe Pila) in fourth position. Our soccer team, which courageously strived to win, was unfortunately knocked out in the first knockout stage. They intend to be stronger next year.
We congratulate each one of our teams and cheer each student who participated in the day.
