Target audience

IPDET Evaluation Nairobi is designed in mind of the needs of local and regional professionals who plan commission, manage, conduct, or use evaluations in the distinct operational context of the region. Its target audience includes multilateral and bilateral institutions, government and decision-makers, VOPEs, young and emerging evaluators, and civil society organizations, among others.

Course content, dates and duration

IPDET Nairobi will be offered in similar format to the IPDET Bern core course which consists of 7 modules delivered over a 5-day period. It will use home-grown case studies and localised experiences that have a global application to build the knowledge and skills of professionals to effectively carry out their M&E related functions. It will make use of global, regional and local evaluation experts and practitioners to deliver and share in their knowledge and experiences while also enjoying in the rich cultural experience. IPDET Evaluation Training Nairobi will also integrate social and cultural elements that offer insight to a true feel of Kenya.

This core course that will be implemented between 3 – 7 November 2025, will also include a one-day field trip visit to a social/cultural site where participants will enjoy a true experience of “The Pride of Africa.”
