Wits offers undergraduate degrees in the Arts, Humanities, Commerce, Law, Health Sciences and Science.
Admission requirements

English Language Proficiency
As an English-medium university, Wits requires that all its students are proficient in English before they are accepted.
Medical Aid
In terms of the Immigration Act, any prospective student to the Republic of South Africa must provide proof of medical cover with a medical scheme registered in terms of the Medical Schemes Act.
Study Visa
The University is not permitted to register you until you have produced your VALID Study Visa. It could take at least 6 to 8 weeks for your Study Visa application to be processed.
Foreign Qualification Evaluation
Undergraduate students with non-South African qualifications must have their school qualifications evaluated.

Visit the Campus Housing and Residence website for information about accommodation.
Financial information
All international students are required to provide proof of available funds before receiving a study visa.
