Glenda Gray Professor Glenda Gray is the Director of IDORI at Wits. She was the first female President and CEO of the SAMRC, where she led the scientific strategy and prioritization of medical research in South Africa. She sits on various international scientific boards including the GARDP and CEPI and the CHAVD SCRIPPS to name a few.
Robert Breiman Professor Robert Breiman is the Senior Scientific Advisor of the new Infectious Diseases and Oncology Research Institute (IDORI) at Wits. Before joining Wits, Rob was the Director of the Emory University Global Health Institute and he was the overall PI for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Caz McNamara Caz McNamara is the Senior Program Manager of IDORI. She holds a Masters degree in Biochemistry from Rhodes University, and has more recently graduated cum laude with a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Management and Administration from Stellenbosch University.
Gladwin Gaehler Gladwin Gaehler is the Administrator at the Infectious Disease and Oncology Research Institute (IDORI) at Wits. He specializes in Digital Media and Events. He holds an Honours degree from Wits School of Arts and has completed his Masters in Media ethics. He has experience in social media management, VFX and marketing.
