Postdoctoral Fellowship

The DSI-NRF Centre for Excellence in Human Development seeks to appoint several full-time postdoctoral researchers

Human development involves the processes, on an individual and social level, towards fulfilment, not only of basic needs but of values including freedom, security, achievement and belonging. From early child development to transforming our society, the study of human development puts people at the centre stage of our national concerns. It requires a multi- and interdisciplinary approach, across social, psychological and biological disciplines and practice.

This programme fellowship aims to develop postdocs to senior researcher level within 2 years. All fellowships will involve mentoring, academic writing, project planning/implementation, data analyses and career strategy formulation.

The successful candidates will work closely with Professor Shane Norris and Dr Khuthala Mabetha as programme mentors.
