Our purpose is to innovatively use technology to transform Acid Mine Drainage from an environmental liability into sustainable, equitable, and valuable solutions.

What is Acid Mine Drainage? Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) is a significant environmental issue that arises from the mining of coal, precious metals, and other minerals.
Project Goals Our goals include mapping AMD sources, developing sustainable treatment technologies, revenue generation from AMD, economic analysis and tool development, as well as community welfare improvement.
